1. What do I need to rent with Aina Car?
At the time of vehicle pickup, we will ask for your ID or passport, a valid EU driver's license, and your credit card. Please note that not all prepaid and debit cards, such as Visa Electron, are accepted.
2. What payment methods are accepted?
Only payment by credit card in the driver's name is accepted. Debit cards, Maestro cards, or prepaid cards are not accepted. Cash payments will not be accepted.
3. Is it possible to return the vehicle outside office hours?
At many offices, you can return the vehicle outside office hours. This possibility is specified in the office hours if available. It may incur an additional charge.
4. When do I pay for my rental car?
In offices, the rental payment is made upon confirming the reservation by charging your credit card. For prepaid rates for online bookings, the rental amount will be charged at the time of booking. In both cases, the deposit is charged upon vehicle delivery.
5. Can I cancel a booking?
The reservation can be canceled before the rental starts in writing or by email. Follow the instructions found in our rental information section.
6. What is the minimum age to drive?
Specific rules apply for the minimum age and driving license, guided by the corresponding vehicle and may include the booking process. Basically, the minimum age for each driver is 21 years (minimum 2 years of driving license). A variation of the minimum age is possible, depending on the vehicle. An additional young driver coverage fee applies to drivers under 26 years.
7. Where can I return the rental car?
At the same pickup office. If you wish, you can choose the one-way supplement or return the vehicle at a different office from the pickup one, at an additional cost that you can check in our rental information. For the use of ferries both domestically and abroad, written authorization from Aina Car is required.
8. What size are the suitcases indicated for the cars?
The suitcases indicated as reference for car trunks are the same standard hand luggage capacity as on an airplane.
9. What does “Meet & Greet” next to the office name mean?
In the case of “Meet & Greet” offices, it is not a physical Aina Car office, but a meeting point where an agent designated by Aina Car will meet you and hand over your rental vehicle with the keys and the rental contract.
